Accessibility

What we’ve done, what still needs work, and how to reach a person if the site gets in your way.

Our commitment

We want anyone to be able to shop for a truck here, including people using a screen reader, keyboard navigation, magnification or voice control. We treat accessibility as part of building the site rather than something bolted on afterward.

What we’re working toward

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. That standard covers things like colour contrast, keyboard access, text alternatives for images, and clear form labelling.

What we’ve done

  • Every form field has a visible label rather than placeholder text alone
  • Colour contrast meets or exceeds the AA threshold for body text and buttons
  • The whole site can be navigated by keyboard, with a visible focus outline
  • Vehicle photos carry descriptive alternative text
  • Animation and movement are reduced for visitors whose devices request it
  • Text resizes without breaking the layout
  • Headings follow a logical order so screen readers can navigate by structure

Known limitations

We’d rather name the gaps than claim perfection.

  • Vehicle photographs come from our inventory system, and alternative text on some older listings is less descriptive than we’d like
  • Walkaround videos do not currently have captions
  • Some third-party components, such as embedded maps and financing tools, are outside our direct control
  • Vehicle history reports are provided by Carfax and follow their accessibility standards, not ours

We’re working on these. If one of them is blocking you today, call us and we’ll get you the same information another way.

There’s always a person

If any part of this site doesn’t work for you, you never have to fight with it. Call (303) 286-1665 or text (833) 798-4934 during business hours and someone will read you the listing, describe the photos, answer questions about condition, or take an application over the phone. This isn’t a workaround we grudgingly offer — it’s how a lot of our business gets done anyway.

Tell us what’s broken

If you run into a barrier here, we want to know. Tell us what page you were on, what you were trying to do, and what you were using — a screen reader, a phone, keyboard only. That detail is what lets us actually fix it rather than guess.
