Bring these if you're buying
Driver's license
Valid and current. Needed to test drive as well as to buy.
Proof of insurance
You'll need coverage before you can drive it off. Your agent can usually add it in a phone call.
Trade paperwork
If you're trading: the title or payoff information, registration, and both sets of keys.
